I love ME, Mother Earth to you and me
It’s some time since I’ve used this simile
Knowing that this is just a fantasy,
That calls to the child in humanity!
Nature has no face she has no gender,
We say feminine saying she’s our mother.
When we pass and are buried in her soil,
Should we return to the womb after our toil?
It’s what we believe in our superstition
By its given name is beyond our volition.
For everything occurring is physical,
Everything that happens is just natural.
It responds to the natural reasons,
It obeys the recurrence of seasons.
Animal kingdoms respond to the same
By their volition they know the game.
The game of life is for food to find,
The only interference is by mankind.
Then we feel guilty and try to make amends
Knowing its not what God sends or forfends.
Nor Nature neither, certainly not revengeful
That’s not in the nature of things natural.
Vengeance is the Lord’s they sermonly say,
But in my book that is not the Lord’s way.
Love leaves no room for that,
Love gives, it does not extract!
Unconditional is its name,
Only acceptance, no blame or shame.
The Soul, of the Lord Logos, a part,
Gave us consciousness, apart
From which it gave life to the mind
What would you call that? Kind?
It takes a back seat as a Witness
Giving all to the Consciousness.
That is the epitome of unconditional
It is above and beyond rational.
If Nature had a living consciousness
It wouldn’t wish us to return to the goddess,
Better to give all of ourselves elementally
In fire, to which the Soul returns, naturally!
