KNOWING

KNOWING
‘An unexamined life is not worth living’ (Socrates.)

An unexamined self
Is without direction.
A life of disrespect
Is a life of ignorance,
Where intelligence
Counts for nought
And wisdom
Has no place.

Nature is the Teacher
Where much is taught
Through observation
And respect of others
And of other species.
Earth is the evolving Planet
The vehicle of experience,
Where man may become.

Only through examination
Can man become whole
In the knowledge
Of who and what he is.
Only through the respect
Of others and all life
Can man become
Truly whole!

Looking within,
Looking without,
Looking beyond
The physical.
Seeing with awareness
The Trinity within,
Expressing without
Man becomes Human.

  2. More than ever I would say with Socrates and with you : “An unexamined life is not worth living”. May we be spared of ignorance and self satisfaction, Life changes everyday and is worth being reviewed constantly. We are gods but can we be humans as well. THAT is the question!!
With love and light to you, dear David, and to all those who will read your message.

    • David says:

Masters say some and gods maybe dear Eugene, but the mass of mankind has a way to go before they can call themselves truly human! Love, David
