THE SPARK of LIFE

THE SPARK of LIFE
Remember, remember
The fifth of November?
It is said that in time
Fireworks will be forgotten
When other things take form.

At least for celebration
When their danger overrides
Their delight and wonder,
When we become more serious?
Will we cease to burn our rubbish
And compost everything that grew?

Just to save the Ozone Layer
Of which whose hole-i-ness
We are only partly to blame!
When you watch the sparks rise
From fire and lick the Guy to life
Or should that be to light?

Remember your own origin
The Spark that springs you to life.
The Spark that came from Divine Fire
From which all Light and Life begins,
The Source of All There Is.
Allegorical? Yes, but true!

No other way to put this …
When you see the shower of sparks rise
Each one a Soul on a journey of Life
Some return when pure enough
But the issue from the Source
Is eternally continuous.

  1. Wonderful David.. “Remember your own origin The Spark that springs you to life. The Spark that came from Divine Fire From which all Light and Life begins, The Source of All There Is.
    Allegorical? Yes, but true!”

We will be lighting our rubbish in the allotments later… A miserable day here in the UK today ..
Hope you are well David.. sending love and Blessings your way x Sue
