Then floating like some dancing ship
As if nature had let something slip
A rose showed through the sea of mist
Pure and pink, petals furled like sails akissed.
Then another and another joined the fleet
Until the Armada with all sails set
Hove into view heading for the gate
As if to say, come aboard my hearty mate.
Since the buyers came into clear view
Though yet to coil and tie the knot so true,
Our ship though stowed has been moored
And all movement securely anchored.
But heart is something we can never lose
When looking into the centre pink rose.
The crow that flew over reminds us oft
Of the calling from the crow’s nest aloft!
Land ho! We all shout, ahoy there, afar
Destination unsure, following our star
Captain, coastguard, customs all
We’re just passengers having a ball.
Could it be October Rose that leads us on,
Is this what we’ve been waiting for, all along?
Why not? Something so simple and so pure
Rising through the fog, of being so unsure!
At last, at last it is a done deal
All the documents have their seal!
Happiness, transaction, happiness
Either side a new level of consciousness!
