(Between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales)
Islands are in their own right
It is only right that islands and continents
Are one in themselves.
Walls and fences will only cause
Difference, antagonism and war,
Whether physical, political or commercial.
No man is an island
In truth we are One.
Maps from ancient times
Determine our boundaries
Bordered by beaches and broad oceans,
Mountains and mighty rivers.
Build bridges not unnatural boundaries
That only separate.
What chance for Oneness we crave
When those set on ceding
From the unity we enjoyed
For generations
Can look no further
Than false argument
And personal gain.
