We asked: When people ask for healing you have told us that, as we write and say the name, healing is given, for what we call distant healing, but in the physical how often should the laying on of hands be done. Is it every day or once a week, how often?
When you say once a week or once a day or once an hour, what happens is that you want to extract that healing moment out of habit so it becomes something special. That’s why also in your cultures one prays at certain times of the day, or a certain moment, when
(in reality) a prayer should be done all the time!
Now the healing will depend on the situation of the person and the capacities of the healer. Don’t say only once a week, you see, if you have to visit your doctor every day it might become a routine and you don’t have the same questions on the second or the third day than on the first, but if you want to see an evolution in a body you have to do it, and that’s why in your cultures you have what you called observations when the healer feels that someone needs nearly daily (attention) and it must be done.
You can give healing whenever you both feel that it is needed. It’s not an obligation. It’s something you feel. You have been given a power, use it in a very wise way! You yourself can feel in your hands whether what you are doing is good or necessary or just superfluous!
Then from Abraham-Hicks Publications:
Someone asked us recently, “Is there any limitation to the body’s ability to heal?” And we said, “None, other than the belief that you hold.” And he said, “Then why aren’t people growing new limbs?” And we said, “Because no one believes that they can.”
