Autumn Rose … 111021

Autumn rose
in sweet repose,
catches fading light.
Nearing the night,
on summer scent
thoughts are bent.
Last of the pinks
as heaven blinks,
sleeping starts.
Still beating hearts
beneath the soil,
natures clever foil.
Looking forward
to spring reward.
Rebirths glory
never ending story.
